The Local cuisine is worth trying out and the best and popular cider bars are in Sachsenhausen. The Affentorschanke offers great value and a rustic design, and offers dishes like the Haspeln and Scheufelchen (pork dishes of local tradition) as well as the fillet of beef marinated in cider, which is delectable.
