The Local cuisine is worth trying out and the best and popular
cider bars are in Sachsenhausen. The Affentorschanke offers great
value and a rustic design, and offers dishes like the Haspeln and
Scheufelchen (pork dishes of local tradition) as well as the fillet
of beef marinated in cider, which is delectable.
The environs around Frankfurt’s main shopping street, the
Zeil, are packed with all sorts of foreign cuisine. The likes
of Thai food (Suvadee), Japanese food (Utage), French food (Bistro
Rosa), Italian food (Isoletta), are all located in around the
shopping streets. Enough to get the taste buds screaming.
The city, being a multi-cultural centre says it all and so when
one orders a hot curry, make sure you have the jug of water at
hand because the multi-cultural society eat their food that way.
The real original spices etc.
The Lahore Palace is a popular Indian Restaurant with great staff
as well as the Phuket, which serves a Thai dish with a price tag
that is more than reasonable for the quality of the food.
